extends Logic

General Description

Generate the valid signal indicating whether the output is valid.

Exponent takes in exponent and mantissa of the floating point radicand and also the start signal to indicate the start of iterative computation as well as counter indicating the current iterative step. It outputs the valid signal indicating whether the output is valid.

Usage Examples:

First, you must import the Logic.Modules.FloatingPoint package:
import byucc.jhdl.Logic.Modules.FloatingPoint.*;

To instance a Valid the following constructor would be used:
new Valid(this, start, fin, ein, counter, valid, instanceName);
